Less than 24 hours after mourning over presidential
handshake snub one of Sen. Ben Murray Bruce investments
is in trouble.
Silverbird Galleria on Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island,
Lagos has been sealed off.
According to Funshakin blog, the bustling entertainment
and business complex was sealed off early Tuesday, May
30, 2016 by the Lagos State Waste Management Authority
(LAWMA) over unpaid service fees.

It was alleged that the Lagos state agency had sent several
notice for months which was ignored by the management
of Silverbird Galleria and this prompted the officials of the
LAWMA to visit.
Two of the entrances of the galleria on located locked and a
sealed off notice was posted on the gate. The one on Louis
Solomon Street off Ahmadu Bello Way and the main one on
Ahmadu Bello Way were under locks and keys. It was only
the third entrance that was left for the use of staffs and

Sen. Bruce set the social media agog over his purported

a dinner organized to mark 2016 Democracy Day. the social
media savvy senator was alleged stopped by men of
the operatives of the Department of State Services.
